Verity & Pete's Wedding

We have been down to Essex this weekend for Verity & Pete's Wedding.

We all stayed in a converted windmill about 10 minutes away from the venue. As lunch was going to be late I had my first cooked breakfast before the wedding.

Verity & Pete got married up the top of a tower at Leez Priory.

I was very good through out the ceremony apart from climbing on to the chair in front for a better view!
Whilst Verity & Pete were having lots of photos taken, I got stuck into the champagne & canapes!

There were lots of people to play ball with and I enjoyed trying to close the door.

The meal was very nice - Daddy let me try some off his plate. The smoked salmon was ok but I wasn't too keen on the cream cheese and spinach. I had Beef Wellington for main course - it didn't look much like Daddy's wellingtons that he wears when we take Roxie for a walk, but was much nicer tasting! I fell asleep in my pushchair so missed pudding, although I've been told that Daddy ate 3 of the biggest profiteroles ever! The waitress told us that they didn't think anyone would be able to eat all 3 they were that big!

I enjoyed playing with Gabrielle before and after dinner. He is a bit older than me as he had his first birthday last month.

Once it had got dark we all went outside to watch some very noisy fireworks.

We came back to Sheffield today but popped into see Great Nannie & Great Grandad on the way back.

Easter

Lots of people came to visit over Easter. Granny, Grandpa & Auntie Emma came up from Croydon on Good Friday. They arrived just in time for lunch and then spent the afternoon playing with me.

On Saturday Great Granny & Grandpa, Great Uncle Nick, Great Auntie Jane & Great Uncle Trevor, Emily & Edward came for lunch. I got mine early which was a good job as everyone else's took a lot longer to warm up than both Mummy & Daddy thought it would! As it had been Uncle Nick's birthday he had a big cake, although no one was allowed to sing Happy Birthday as I had gone back to sleep.

We went out for lunch on Easter Sunday and I had chocolate for the first time when the nice lady in the restaurant gave me a chocolate Easter bunny. The chocolate was ok but he gold wrapping was more fun (and less messy!).

Grandma & Grandad came to visit on Monday and Daddy drove us out to Hathersage to have lunch at the Little John. I even got my own plate of roast turkey!

I've lots of Easter eggs to eat now, although as I am only allowed a little bit at a time I think they will last quite a while (unless Mummy decides to help!)

Getting Around

I've nearly got this walking thng cracked! Daddy has also been helping me practice my throwing ready for the cricket season!
