Disney Part 2

We got to meet Mickey again...

went on a steam boat ride
Mummy met a medical colleague!
Joshua enjoyed Autotopia and got to drive a car for the first time
We had tea with the characters
and managed to get to see the final parade in front of the castle

Disney

We went to see Mickey Mouse for the last 4 days of our holiday. We stayed in a lodge at Davy Crocketts, about 15 mins from the actual park. Luckily it was relatively quiet - the most we queued was about 40 mins and we were able to park very close to the entrance each day.
Joshua enjoyed meeting all the characters (and getting them to sign in his book) and the rides - Buzz Lightyear was his favourite (and Daddy's!) so we went on it a number of times!
He liked the elephants and enjoyed taking Mummy as high as they would go and would have gone on Thunder Mountain had he been a little bit taller (unlike his Mum!)
Mickey & Minnie
Goofy & Pluto
Woody from Toy Story
Winnie the Pooh
We had lunch with Mickey and his friends...
Donald Duck
Daisy
and the car stunt show was amazing!

Paris

We visited Paris for the day as I was getting better. Daddy drove to the outskirts, with a couple of false starts as some of the roads were closed by roadworks. We got the metro into the centre of Paris and then after lunch in the gardens outside the Louvre went on a bus trip round the tourist attractions.
The famous pyramid outside the Louvre

Notre Dame
Not all of us found the sights massively interesting!

L' Arc de Triomphe
and of course the Eiffel Tower

We had tea in a small cafe near the Louvre and then got the metro back to the car. It started to rain when we were on the metro and we ended up driving back to the caravan in some very heavy rain. Daddy was certainly glad when we made it back to the caravan!

France

We have been on holiday to France. We went on the ferry to get to France and Daddy managed to drive on the wrong side of the road to get to the campsite.

The campsite was nice - it had several large lakes where we were able to feed the ducks...
and a big playground with a climbing frame, slide and see saw. I learnt to climb up the ladder and cargo net on my own and liked coming down the slide on my tummy. Mummy took me on the swing (but wasn't bery good at coming down the fireman's pole!!)

I wasn't very well for some of the time we were there so we cooked in the caravan most of the nights. I was very grown up and decided that I wanted some 'wine' (apple juice) in a big boy glass!

I enjoyed the swimming pool and coming down the big flume with Daddy.

We went to Chantilly for the day to see the big palace, stables and the horse show. My favourite was the big brown horse
