Paddling Pool Fun

With all the nice weather we have been able to have my paddling pool out. Mummy blew it up before Daddy filled it up with the hose.

I made sure that I changed in to my swimming trunks before going in...unlike Mummy who 'fell' in (well perhaps with a little help from Daddy!!)

Boys Weekend

Mummy went away to Birmingham to go the spa and stay over night with some of the girls. Daddy and I made the most of the (peace & quiet!!) weekend.

On Friday night we went camping. I helped Daddy put up the tent...

before cooking tea. After tea we played football, read stories and played games in the tent.

On the Saturday morning we met Chris & Noah, Mat & Joe and Swig & Isaac to go for a bike ride on the Tissington Trail. We cycled from Parsley Hay to Tissington, stopping for some banana and chocolate chip cake on the way that Kerry had made.

After a picnic lunch all the (small) boys had a run round before the Daddies cycled back to the cars.

We then went for a well earned cup of tea (or ice cream!) although it took a bit longer to get to the cafe as Swig took us the wrong way to begin with!

Everyone came back to our house and we all played in the garden before Daddy cooked tea for everyone on the bbq.

On Sunday morning we all went to Endcliffe park. Noah played cricket with me before a visit to the playground to play on the swings, climbing frame and roundabout.

Family Party at the farm

Michelle, Dave, Catherine, Andrew and Charlotte were back in the UK from Hawaii on their way to their new house in Australia.

We had a party at Great Grandad's farm with all the family.

I had lots of fun playing football and cricket in the yard.

Grandad Stick came as well so I had a picture with two Great Grandads!

Fishing

After we had been camping we drove to Skegness to see Grandad Stick as he was staying at his caravan. As it was sunny I went fishing using the fishing rod I got for Christmas.

I caught two fish very quickly - much to the displeasure of the gentleman next to me! Daddy managed to take a picture of the first fish I caught!

Grandad Stick also caught some fish...

and I got to hold one of them before I put it back in the water.

Sherwood Forest Farm

Whilst we were camping we went to the farm just up the road from the campsite. I enjoyed feeding all the different animals...

and also driving the tractor in the playground!

Camping

We have been camping in Sherwood Forest. It was raining hard when Mummy & Daddy put the tent up (luckily, I was asleep in the car!) but it stopped just after they had finished!

I enjoyed sleeping in my own sleeping bag and also staying up late - Mummy was asleep before me on the second night!

I was also very good at helping Daddy with the cooking.

My New Friend Rebecca

Daddy's friends from work - Jenny & Andy came round for a BBQ with Rebecca and James. I was a bit shy to start with but soon made friends with Rebecca and had lots of fun playing in the garden all afternoon.

As it was a lovely weekend we spent lots of time in the garden.

I played on my bouncy castle...

and after all that bouncing I was ready for tea cooked on the BBQ by Daddy.

Theo & Suzie's Christening

It was my friends Theo & Suzie's christening on Sunday. The christening was at the church in Hathersage at the top of the hill. After the service we all went back to Theo & Suzie's grandparent's house and had a great time playing in the garden.

The water pistols were a good way to keep cool...

and useful for filling up the paddling pool.

Mummy gave baby Szie her lunch (well when she managed to get it in her mouth!)

Joshua's 3rd birthday

It was my 3rd birthday this week. I had lots of presents on Thursday morning and then a birthday tea with Theo & Joe.

On Sunday I had a party at Cannon Hall Farm. Daddy took lots of pictures - they are at http://picasaweb.google.com/jongillgrass

After my Spiderman cake on Thursday I had a sheep cake this time!

MRCGP Ceremony

Whilst we were at Granny & Grandpa's we went to London as Mummy had her MRCGP ceremony. Grandma & Grandad met us for lunch and after we had had a walk round Hyde Park we went to the Royal College of Music for the ceremony. It was going to finish late so I went home with Granny & Grandpa & Auntie Emma.

Croydon

We went to visit Granny & Grandpa. We had some nice weather so I helped Grandpa digging in the garden.

I also played with Granny inside.

Mummy & Daddy went to visit Glenn & Katie & Simon who had come over from Australia. As they were going to have dinner late Daddy drove me home in time for Granny to give me my bath and put me to bed!

April Mischief

We got up to lots during April. Chris, Anna & Noah came round for to play in the new playroom. I played the piano and Noah sang along!

Grandma & Grandad came to visit...

Mummy made an Easter bonnet for the Easter parade at Pre School...

And I had chicken pox (you can just see my spots!). Although that didn't stop me playing my guitar!
